Lowboys
Italy
Low frequencies, a young age. These are the two main characteristics of young and talented duo of southern Italy, led by Umberto Canito and Enzo Palmisano, both born in 1994.
2007 - Almost by instinct approach to electronic music at the tender age of 13 years, beginning to listen to early records, and going to listen the local djs
2008 - The passion for music is strong, growing day after day and listen to it was no longer satisfactory for the duo. So, they decided to start to producing something, churning out their first records from their little "home studio" composed of a PC, a pair of headphones and 2 small speakers
2009 - The year of refinement, the duo began to release music more compact and with specific ideas, so that their records arrive in the ears of the international DJs, that appreciate the tracks, played them in their respective Mixshow, Radioshow and Liveshow and everything around the world.
2010 - Breakthrough year. The duo, working hard for months and months reach the Beatport’s top 100 charts for 10 times, including one of them, that they touched the 7 th place in Minimal chart. Their records are now in the playlists of many DJs, including Richie Hawtin. He played one of their singles “Slip Box” in May, in one of his “Minus Showcase”
2011 - The duo grows, their sound changes, moving from Minimal-Techno to Tech/Deep House but always taking care of their unique style, full of sounds ranging from Pop to Jazz. This their choice seems to be decisive. They released their first single with the new sound on labels like Soulman Music, JTV Recordings and Nervous (NY) when they released a track called “Space Drugs” played by Carl Cox in his Mixshow. In September the duo went to play for the first time outside Italy, in Scotland
2012 – The work continue and the successes too, the tracks are now in the playlists of the best world dj. Their single “The Violet Sky” is played by Richie Hawtin four times in clubs like Drai’s (Las Vegas, USA), Casa (Fukui, Japan), Space Ibiza (Ibiza, Spain) and BCM Planet Dance (Mallorca, Spain). Also, they release a remix for the Russian duo “Moonbeam” of their track “Ghost”, played days before the date release by Markus Schulz

Scotty.A
Norwich, Britain (UK)
"Scotty.A has emerged recently as an outstanding producer who is a talent to be watched closely. His productions have seen him signed to several labels of note and he has received support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Russian DJ/producer Denis A amongst others. This support for his productions coupled with an extraordinary passion for music and complete dedication to his craft mean that Scotty.A is definitely a name to watch in 2013 and beyond.
Scotty began DJ'ing in 1999 and over the years started to gain local recognition appearing on line-ups for various events in his hometown in England, all the time developing his own distinctive sound which can still be recognised in his DJ sets and productions today. Originally driven by the strong, melodic trance released in the late 90's Scotty's sound has evolved over time to include elements of house, techno, and electronica. Scotty himself is keen to avoid being pinned down to only one genre, describing his sound as a hypnotic amalgamation of different elements which always takes the listener on a unique journey. Scotty's enthusiasm for electronic music is apparent in his DJ sets which have allowed him to play at the world famous clubs Turnmills, Ministry of Sound and Pacha in London alongside names such as Dave Seaman, Guy J, Oliver Lieb, Danny Howells, Jimmy Van M and others. During 2012 Scotty has played various international dates and has established a residency for Terminal in Bournemouth, England as well as appearing on the line-up at John Digweed's legendary Bedrock night in London.
Scotty first started to take a serious interest in producing his own tracks in the Spring of 2009, the technical standard of his music seemed to jump dramatically with each new production and in September 2009 his track “Underestimated" was announced as the unanimous winner of a Global Underground bedroom producer competition sponsored by Mixmag. The end of 2010 saw his competition winning remix of Denis A's track “Heroin" released on the Russian based DAR label, this remix gained major support, raising Scotty’s international profile and also featured on a guest mix by Denis A for John Digweed's world famous Transitions radio show. Scotty has since had a number of well received releases and remixes which have been heavily supported by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and many more DJ’s around the world. There is now an ever growing demand from artists and labels for both Scotty's original music and remixes including requests from Armada label Electronic Elements, Proton Music and Igor Cold’s imprint Somebody's Story Music amongst others.
As well as continuing to DJ whenever possible Scotty is unrelenting in the studio, constantly working on new tracks, remixes and bootlegs for his DJ sets. With continuing interest from labels, producers, fellow DJ's and most importantly, the crowds at his live gigs, Scotty.A is set to be an prominent figure in the future of electronic music.”
