Tritonal vs Audien
Leaving You Everafter
(Tritonal Smashup)
Tritonal
United States
Emerging from relative obscurity in early 2007, in just a few short years Tritonal has become one of the most recognizable names on the modern trance and progressive world stage. Both exceptional talents in their own right, Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed formed a prolific music production partnership from opposite ends of the United States, which exceeded all expectations and proved to be a creative match made in heaven.
The duo met online at a time when Chad was whittling away the hours in his Austin, Texas studio, providing remixes for some of the biggest dance music labels on the planet - Armada, Lost Language, Baroque, AVA Recordings and Alter Ego Records. Meanwhile, Dave was busy in Washington D.C. completing work on his very own artist album. With similar ideas about music production and sound design technique, the pair rapidly formed a close friendship which culminated in Dave packing his belongings and journeying 1,500 miles across country to pursue what now attests to a prosperous collaborative career.
Very few EDM artists today could lay claim to the kind of whirlwind success Tritonal has enjoyed since its inception. Within the very first year of united production, Tritonal’s remixes and original tracks were being pored over and supported by some of the most renowned and respected DJs in the world. Their first smash hit, Piercing Quiet, was voted best track by thousands of listeners to Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance’ radio show, with subsequent releases such as Daybreak, Lights Over Austin, Suede, Utopia and Kiss Me Here igniting explosive interest within the global trance community, causing chaos in the Beatport dance music charts and receiving significant backing from the likes of Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Stoneface & Terminal and Gareth Emery.

Having produced hit after hit at unprecedented break-neck speed, and with a seemingly endless arsenal of fresh sounds and ideas, it’s no surprise that the lads’ more recent releases can be found licensed to colossal label giants Anjunabeats, Armada, Coldharbour, Flashover, Blackhole and AVA Recordings. They have also achieved repute through their tracks being selected for inclusion on a number of sell-out compilation albums, such as Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats: Volume 6, Markus Schulz’s Armada at Ibiza and Toronto ‘09, Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance Top 15 and Abbott & Chambers’ Alter Ego Sessions: Volume 2.
With an army of dedicated fans in the U.S, an ever-expanding legion of followers across the globe and a truly memorable, vivacious stage presence which must be seen to be believed, Tritonal shows no signs of a slow-down. Over the past two years, the guys have headlined at clubs and superclubs in Russia, Asia, the U.S, the U.K and Australasia, and have already accepted bookings for some well-known events coming up in 2011. In addition to a hectic production and touring schedule, the pair also produce the ever-popular Air Up There radio show which has provided an ideal platform from which to launch their latest venture – Air Up There Recordings.

"Our vision behind the label is to release emotional, melodic, forward thinking dance music. The heartbeat behind Air Up There Recordings will be to develop intelligent, uplifting trance that has a fresh and evolving flavour. At the essence of every amazing track is a splendid melody or hook, and we will look first for the musical aspect of the tracks we release. Running our own label is something we've always wanted to do and hooking up with Enhanced has been perfect for us!”
Early 2011 also signals the release of Tritonal’s highly anticipated debut artist album. The album will showcase some of their biggest accomplishments to date, alongside some exciting new additions to the boys’ already impressive discography. We certainly look forward to seeing what this dynamic duo has in store for us next!

Sgt Slick
Australia

The past 2 years have seen Melbourne’s Sgt Slick turn his hand to multiple genres within the HOUSE realm, resulting in some of his finest production form to date… from the deeper grooves of “Sax Addict” (top 5 ARIA Club Chart, heavy DJ support from Roger Sanchez, Stonebridge, Cristian Marchi), to the big room electro boom of “Automatic Machine” (38 weeks in the ARIA Club Chart, including 5 weeks at # 1, and Beatport top 5) and on the Progressive tip, one of the biggest club tunes of 2009 “Right In The Night” (6 months in the ARIA Club Chart, 11 weeks at # 2, Beatport Progressive top 5, and rinsed by the likes of Kaskade, Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke and Armin Van Buuren).
In 2010/11 he has already hit the mark with “Behind The Sun” (licensed to Italy’s coolest house label “Molto”) and has stormed ARIA and Beatport top 5’s with “Back On Black” and “Everyday”(support from Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Morillo and David Guetta). His latest release “Like This” immediately tore up the Beatport chart, reaching number 2 and only being held off top spot by the world’s biggest electronic act, Deadmau5. His collaboration with world beating Dutch DJ “Chuckie” on “The Bass Kicks Like This” is next release on the schedule, and it has already hit the Beatport Top 10 with a sneaky pre release on the Dirty Dutch Digital Vol. 3 compilation.
In the clubs he has also made his mark on the decks, with a string of long term residencies in Melbourne and across the country. Regular slots at some of the nation’s biggest clubs and festivals such as Family, HQ, Bedroom, Discovery, Planet, Soho, Neverland, Summadayze and Future Music Festival have seen him supporting the likes of Roger Sanchez, Joachim Garraud, Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim. He has also been the DJ of choice for many major event after parties such as The Australian Open, Australian Grand Prix, Melbourne Fashion Week, and numerous motion picture releases, and is currently touring his Vicious “iCuts” Mix CD release around the nation.
With a 10 year relationship with Australia’s leading club label “Vicious” under the Sgt Slick moniker, he has a slew of releases to his name, including one of Australia’s finest house music moments in “White Treble Black Bass”. Topping club charts in Australia and all over Europe / UK, the track eventually netted Andy an ARIA award for Best Dance Release in ’98. Along with his output as “Sgt Slick”, he has achieved chart and club success at home and abroad with collaborations under the names “Blackout” (Gotta Have Hope), “Firefox”, (Sex Shooter) “Smash ‘n’ Grab” (She Don’t Like That) and “Andy J” (Tilt My Hat), and has “Slicked up” remixes for artists such as Stonebridge, Avicii, DONS, Jess Mauboy and Sarah McLeod. He co hosted and mixed the “Loaded” radio show on the Austereo Network for 5 years, has co hosted Nova’s “NovaNation”, and appeared on Triple J’s “Mixup” 3 times.
